    Directions:

      Bring a large pot of water to boil. Add ziti pasta and cook until al dente, about 8 minute.

      Drain.

      Brown onion, hamburger, and garlic over medium heat.
    4. 4
      Add spaghetti sauce, and simmer 15 minutes.
    5. 5
      Preheat oven to 350°F .
    6. 6
      Butter a 9 x 13 baking dish.
    7. 7
      Layer as follows:small amt of sauce on bottom of pan, 1/2 the ziti, provolone cheese, sour cream, 1/2 sauce mixture, remaining ziti, mozzarella cheese, and remaining sauce mixture.

      Top with grated parmesan cheese.

      Bake for 30 minutes or until cheeses are melted.

      I really loved this recipe. I made my own sauce and used ricotta instead of sour cream and it was delicious. It is definitely one I will make again and even pass along to friends.

      Delicious! I didn't even miss the usual ricotta cheese. This is so easy to put together, but it tastes extra-special. I will definitely be making this again.
