Creamy Parmesan Garlic Shrimp

From another website. This recipe uses frozen pre-cooked shrimp and they were great. Kids and DH liked this a lot. I served this with linguine.

  1. Heat oil in a medium-hot skillet and add garlic. Let that cook for 2 minutes.
  2. Now add the shrimp and sprinkle with the cayenne pepper. Cook, moving them in the pan for 5 minutes.
  3. Add the sugar to the lime juice and mix; set aside.
  4. Add the milk, cheese, butter and lime juice blend and stir constantly for about 5 minutes more, making sure cheese and butter are melted and sauce is well blended.
  5. Taste for seasonings.
  6. Serve over linguine and sprinkle with some black pepper and garnish with scallions.

Very easy and quite tasty recipe. Will definitely make this again.

I cut the olive oil in half, and didn't have any scallions. It seemed very thin, so I added 2 tbsp. flour at the end to thicken the sauce. I served it with penne and broccoli. Out of 4 of us, 1 thought it was a bit too spicy, 2 loved it, and 1 who doesn't like shrimp loved it. A quick, tasty keeper!

Very tasty, and very easy to make. I halved the oil and didn't have lime juice on hand (wish that I had!). Thanks!
