The flavors are wonderful- instead of olive oil, I used the oil from the jar of tomatoes. And I agree that the pepper should be cut by half. Thanks Sue L, I will keep this one!

Great snack I made for myself. Subbed sliced almonds, olive bread. Used a tad bit more sun-dried tomatoes and their oil, and a tad less of the salt. Did not find peppery at all. The acidity in a glass of white wine would have gone well with this.. I think. :)

I thought this was WAY WAY WAY too salty. I followed the recipe as directed, so I'm puzzled that no one else has commented about the salt. I love all the ingredients in this, so I'll try next time omitting the salt (and sugar possibly too).

I literally and I mean literally have to stop myself from eating goat cheese everyday. This recipe is no exception. I love this recipe! So easy, creamy, just so tasty. Thank you, thank you Sue L for posting this recipe!

YUM. I love making easy dishes that taste extremely gourmet. This is one! Although, the pepper was a bit much for me. I used walnuts instead of pine nuts and fresh tomatoes instead of sun-dried, and added some basil. I added a lot more nuts and tomatoes than the recipe called for and it evened out the peppery taste perfectly. Very, very yummy!!! Thanks!

Okay, this was my first time to use goat cheese and I was pleasantly surprised with the results. I did change the recipe just a little because of what I had on hand. I only had 5 oz of cheese so i used just a little less of the tomatoes. I did not have pine nuts so I used chopped walnuts. I added a little garlic powder and forgot to add the sugar. This was GREAT. My daughter used it as a spread on a roast beef and provalone panini and it was WONDERFUL. I will be making this again.

I had been meaning to try this recipe for ages, and I am so glad that I did. Great flavor! I almost ate them all. I eyeballed the pepper, as opposed to measuring out the full amount, so I did not feel these were too peppery. The toasted pine nuts gave a great cruch to the smoothness of the goat cheese. I will definately be making this again!

Peppery and very dependent on the quality of goat cheese used. Next time I'll pick a smoother, more moist cheese.

I loved this!!! The amount of pepper surprised me, but I used the whole amount of freshly ground. It was just right. I love a little spicy. I could have eaten every last one myself. I toasted my bread and then rubbed each one with half a garlic clove just for a little hint of garlic. I will definatley make this again.
