directions

  • Cook linguini as directed on box.
  • While noodles cook heat butter and garlic in small saucepan over medium heat until butter is melted and garlic is browned.
  • Add cream and heat until bubbling.
  • Add cheese, parsley, basil, salt and pepper.
  • Return drained noodles to kettle. Pour sauce over noodles, stirring gently until all are well coated.

Questions & Replies

  1. Is one cup of butter accurate? Two sticks of butter seem excessive. And if you were to put 2 sticks of butter in a saucepan (as opposed to a skillet) I doubt the garlic would brown quickly.

  2. Can you make this the day before or will it be dry?

  1. My good friend David Belleini loved this! It replenished his meat quite well and the subtle flavours of beast really made the meal. His spaghet is also healthier now. Very good! 11/10 IGN

  2. So good. When I was younger this was my favorite meal and now I am a proud mother of 5 and I am so exited to share with my kids.

  3. Yum! This was super good. Loved how simple and delish this was. Thanks for sharing this nice keeper. Made for Cookbook Tag.

  4. Just add 1 tsp of cornstarch that will do!! Awesome recipe

  5. This was wonderful! I used 1 cup of cream but then added another cup of half and half. I used parmesan instead of romano and added in some cornstarch to thicken the sauce. Very flavorful!!
