Tasty and easy to prepare - and it is definitely a great use for leftovers! I used the basil and oregano option and added a little bit of shredded mozzerella with the Parmesan on top. Very enjoyable. Thanks for sharing! Veggie Swap 38

I'm not sure what happened with these. I guess my mashed potatoes had too much liquid in them; instead of having compact potato cakes we ended up with soft potatoes spread out all over the pan. The flavor was good, though. I don't blame the recipe; I think maybe we had the wrong kind of mash for this. Thanks for posting!

WOW, what a wonderful recipe!!!! I luved everything about these potato cakes! They were super yummy with a lovely herby, cheesy flavour and had such a great texture! They were creamy and fluffy on the inside with a lovely crust on the outside. Though I made my own mashed taters first and baked the cakes a little longer at a lower temperature, these were still rather quick to make. I chose not to top my cakes with cheese, but to incorporate the cheese into the mash, which worked out really well. THANK YOU SO MUCH for sharing this extra yummy treat with us, Dreamer! Ill certainly make these again. Made and reviewed for I Recommend Tag Game May 2010.

I made two patties out of 1 1/2 cup of mashed potatoe and put some diced ham on one and some hot hungarian salami on the other and covered with a grated pizza cheese (a mix of cheddar and mozzarella). They took 9 minutes at 220C in a fan forced oven and the DM and myself enjoyed. Will consider making again as a side to a meal. Made for please review my recipe a game of tag.

I added onion powder in my mashed potatoes. I used mozzarella cheese. I added red pepper flakes on 2 cakes. It was great but something was missing. It didn't have a taste of pizza for me. Thanks Dreamer. Made for the Babes of ZWT4

*Reviewed during ZWT4* These were easy to make and baked up nicely. I used parmesan cheese with the Italian seasoning and it didn't melt. It did brown up nicely and was tasty though. I think these potato cakes would be great with some seasonings inside them-maybe fine onions or garlic with herbs. I think these would be by far better with mozarella or mozarella combo for cheese topping. Posting a photo (but I hope you get a better one soon)

These were so easy to make, and tasted terrific! The potatoes get crispy and brown on the bottom. I asked my BF if he wanted to make this with mozzarella or cheddar, so he chose chedder so I'm not so sure how much like pizza it tasted. If you wanted to make it taste more like pizza, I might suggest adding a little tomato paste topped with mozzarella and/or parmesan? Anyway, these were good:)
