- 1360.77 g beef round steak, cut 1/3 to 1/2 - inch thick
- 340.19 g fine breadcrumbs
- 2 garlic cloves, chopped
- 14.79 ml parsley flakes
- 29.58 ml romano cheese
- 4.92 ml salt
- 2.46 ml pepper
- 177.44 ml oil
- 828.06 ml tomatoes, drained and chopped (2 (14 oz.)

- salt and pepper (to taste)
directions
- Cut steak into serving size pieces.
- Combine bread, garlic, parsley, cheese, salt and pepper.
- Dip slices of steak into oil and then into bread crumbs.
- Combine tomatoes, remaining oil (not used in dipping steak) and last 2 cloves of garlic.
- Layer tomato mixture and meat in casserole.
- Begin with 3 tablespoons tomato mixture, sprinkle a little cheese, oregano and salt.
- Continue layers finishing with tomato mixture, cheese, oregano and salt.
- Cover and bake at 350 for 1 and 1/2 to 2 hours.
