  1. wonderful meatless meal with the garlic onion and spinach whats not to love cakepops on parade italian quest

  2. I was looking for a fast, meatless recipe and this really fit the bill! Used half and half instead of full-fat cream, and also added a little of the starchy water the pasta cooked in to keep things 'saucy'. Added more spinach, too. Excellent!

  3. Nearly an instant meal. Easy & delicious! Made for Culinary Quest 2014/CCQ.

  4. Really good and easy, definitely will make again, it's really hard to find a good sauce for this dish. The only thing I did was only add 2 Tbls to the pasta and added a little extra spinach. Also I grilled some chicken seasoned with seasoning salt, garlic powder, italien seasoning and a small dash and white wine and a tiny bit of terriyaki. Went really nice together.

  5. Oh my God! I fixed this dish in 20-30 minutes. It's very flavorful--be mindful if you're on a diet--this dinner is carb-heavy, but delicioso all the same! I added a little extra spinach to my dish and added pre-cooked fajita chicken to top it all off! So good.

Tweaks

  1. Thanks Charmie777!!! I used this sauce with my Dreamfields (LC) pasta and it was delish! Yes, sometimes keeping it simple is best! Plus, for the healthy person in me - I like getting a good helping of healthy spinach in with my cream sauce!!! Used shallots in place of the onions and doubled the garlic, just cuz I like it strong... Mmmmmm. SO good!
