this is soooooooooooooo good! i used greek yogurt instead of sour cream and half the ziti to cut down on the carbs. and i agree...it is the best baked ziti!

Excellent! Just made this, and we really enjoyed it. I like the italian sausage mixed with the ground beef. Thanks for the awesome recipe!

Yeah, this really was excellent! I doubled the recipe and divided it into (4), 8 inch pans, and had enough to give 2 away, one to freeze, and one for dinner. It was easy, tasty and filling. the pans were full to mounding, but surprisingly it didn't bubble over, and it was plenty "juicy" enough. Thanks for this one, JennyFrenny!

We loved this recipe. Wonderful flavor. Loved the added flavor of the Italian sausage and rosemary . Only change I made was to put it into two casseroles. A recipe that will be sure to please at a family gathering or pot luck. Thanks for sharing.

My entire family agree that this is outstanding! There is something about this that sets it apart from other baked zitis. Maybe the combination of cheeses and/or the rosemary working with the garlic? Not sure, but it really is "the best." I made this as written, using reduced-fat versions of the dairy products. I did use an immersion blender to sort of puree the cottage cheese. I would proudly take this to a potluck or serve to guests. I can't think of anything that needs improvement, but if you like mushrooms, those would be great in this. Thanx for sharing!
